1. Decide ahead of time what is to be moved.
2. Clear up your garage, sheds and the attic. Leave
what you no longer need as it will otherwise increase
the volume of your removal job.
3. Make sure that anything to be given away or sold is
removed before the day you are moving.
4. Decide which things are to be used immediately after
moving into your new home and pack these separately
e.g. bed linen, medicine, childrens toys, coffee-machine etc.
5. Mark each box with type of content and, if possible,
which room it is to be placed in.
6. Draw a sketch of where the furniture should be placed.
7. How are your pets to be transported?
Will they need inoculation or quarantine?
8. Is the access-road to your new home firm and solid
or will there be a need for driving plates
9. Remember the key for your new home.
10. Look forward to the day you move.
It will be much easier than you think.
